Fall-protection PPE
Fall-protection PPE is a crucial safety measure to prevent injuries from falls while working at heights. It’s important to note that fall-protection PPE works as part of a complete fall protection system, which includes anchor points, lifelines, and other components.
Our fall-protection PPE system include:
Full-body harness: This is the core piece of fall-arrest systems. It distributes the forces of a fall over the wearer’s thighs, shoulders, chest, and back to minimize injuries. Harnesses come in various designs for different applications.
Lanyards: These connect the harness to a secure anchor point. They come in different lengths and with various features like shock absorbers to reduce fall-arrest forces.
Self-retracting lifelines (SRLs): SRLs are essentially lanyards with a built-in locking mechanism that automatically engages if a fall occurs. This helps to keep slack out of the lifeline and reduce fall distance.
